Dorance Armstrong Jr.is an American football defensive end with the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. He was born on June 10, 1997. At Kansas, he played collegiate football.

Armstrong played defensive end at North Shore Senior High School in Cloverleaf, Texas. He received second-team All-District honors in his junior year. He was named to the first team of the district as a senior.

The University of Kansas offered him a football scholarship, which he accepted. He participated in all 12 of the games as a freshman and started the final 5 defensive end games.

He made 23 tackles, five tackles for a loss, 3.5 sacks (second on the team), four passes defended, and five total tackles (second on the team).

The Dallas Cowboys selected Armstrong in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft (116th overall). On October 14, 2018, Armstrong started a game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

On November 5, during a game against the Tennessee Titans, he shared his first career sack with Caraun Reid.

He played in fifteen of the Cowboys’ sixteen games as a rookie, entering the league at age 21. He finished the season with 13 tackles, eight of which were solo, and a half of a sack (one start).
