In the National Football League, cornerback Faion Hicks represents the Denver Broncos. He weighs 87 kg and is 1.78 meters tall. He completed his high school career at Charles W. Flanagan, where he ran for 1,356 yards and 13 touchdowns and made 75 tackles and seven interceptions on defense. The South Florida Sun Sentinel selected him for the second team All-Broward County as a senior.

He played NCAA football for the Wisconsin Badgers while attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison after graduating from high school. The 2018 season saw him play in 12 games as a redshirt freshman, compiling 35 tackles, one interception, and three passes defended. In 14 games, 14 of which he started, he made 32 tackles and one pass defense.

He received a unanimous honorable mention for All-Big Ten in 2020, and in 2021, he started every one of the team’s 11 games at cornerback.
