Where did Hamsah Nasirildeen attend college?

Hamsah Nasirildeen is a linebacker for the New York Jets of the National Football League. Nasirildeen spent his childhood in Concord, North Carolina, and went to Concord High School, where he played football on the high school teams as a safety, linebacker, tight end, and wide receiver.



As a junior, he made his debut on defense and recorded 85 tackles, five interceptions, two forced fumbles, and seven pass breakups. On offense, he caught 35 catches for 634 yards during that same season.

As a senior, he had 108 tackles, three interceptions, and 45 receptions for 751 yards and five touchdowns, which led to his selection as an All-American by the United States Army. He had pledged to play college football at South Carolina going into his senior year since he was one of the top recruits in North Carolina, but he eventually switched his commitment to Florida State.

Nasirildeen made 29 tackles and broke up two passes during his freshman season at Florida State, during which he participated in all 13 of the Seminoles’ games. During his sophomore year with the Seminoles, he once again participated in all of the games and started five times at safety.

He finished the year with a team-high 91 tackles, an interception, and two pass breakups, making him the leader of the team. Before suffering a leg injury against Florida as a senior, he had recorded 101 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, three forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, three passes broken up, and two interceptions as a junior. He had also recorded a fumble recovery.
