He graduated from John Adams High School and competed for the University of Akron’s Akron Zips football team in college. August 3, 2016, saw his undrafted free agency signing with the Washington Redskins.

On September 2nd, 2017, he was discharged. He joined the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad in September of last year. Williams left the Chiefs’ practice squad in October 2017 and was signed by the Indianapolis Colts. On November 25, 2017, he was released, then on December 1st, he was re-signed to the practice squad.
