In the National Football League, Jack Jones plays cornerback for the New England Patriots. Jack weighs 79 kg and is 1.80 m tall. He attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School till he graduated. He promised himself he would go to USC after high school. He took part in collegiate football in 2016 and 2017 with the USC Trojans.

He started for the squad during his sophomore season but was let go before his junior season due to his academic troubles. He changed to Moorpark College to try to improve his grade point average. Once his grades at Moorpark improved, he committed to Arizona State. While there, he served as an ambassador for Arizona State.

As a junior with the Sun Devils, he took part in 13 games and made one start. He played in just two games as a senior in 2020, however throughout that time he made a total of five tackles. He made a comeback to play for Arizona State in 2021 while a graduate student, recording 42 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and a strip sack.

He received a Pac-12 Honorable Mention Defensive Back Award nomination for his 2021 season play. The New England Patriots selected him in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. In June 2022, he formally signed his rookie deal with the Patriots. The contract also featured a $3.6 million salary paid over four years and a signing bonus of $746,984.
