Jake Fromm is a quarterback for the Washington Commanders in the National Football League. He weighs 98 kg and stands 1.88 meters tall. He played football in high school at Houston County High School. At the end of his high school career, he had 12,745 throwing yards and 116 touchdown passes. He was rated a five-star prospect right out of high school by Scout.com and Rivals.com.

He participated in collegiate football for the Georgia Bulldogs at the University of Georgia. In January 2020, he announced his intention to forgo his senior year at Georgia in order to enter the 2020 NFL Draft. He was chosen by the Buffalo Bills with the 167th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

After being released by the Bills on August 31, 2021, he was re-signed to the practice squad the next day. After being signed by the New York Giants on November 30, 2021, he got his first career start in Week 16 of that season against the Philadelphia Eagles.
