Jonathan Harris is a professional football player who plays the defensive end for the Denver Broncos in the National Football League (NFL).

Harris was born on August 4, 1996. He played for the Lindenwood Lions and sat out his first year as a redshirt. After completing his time in college, he totalled 183 tackles, including 38.5 for a loss, 22 sacks, four forced fumbles, an interception and a fumble recovery.

Harris joined the Chicago Bears on May 3, 2019, after signing with the organization as an undrafted free agent. He was removed from the Bears’ active roster on August 31, 2019, but was re-signed to the practice squad the following day. On September 28, 2019, Harris was given a position on the Bears’ active roster after getting a promotion.



At the 2019 NFL season opener on September 29 against the Minnesota Vikings, Harris made his debut as a player. On the 22nd of October, he was let go with no consequences.

The Denver Broncos picked Harris up off of waivers on October 23, 2019, and added him to their roster. On August 12, 2020, he was dropped from the active roster with a non-football illness designation and re-signed to the practice squad the following day.

The next day, on September 1, 2021, he was promoted to the active roster and played in the game against the Seattle Seahawks. After being cut by the Broncos on August 29, 2022, Harris was re-signed to their practice squad on August 30 of that year.
