Jaelan Everett Phillips is an American football outside linebacker for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League.

Phillips played college football at UCLA for two seasons before medically retiring after 2018 due to sustaining several concussions and other injuries.

He was born on May 28, 1999 (age 23 years), in Redlands, California, United States of America and has a very tall height that stands at 1.96m.

Jaelan is known to have begun his high school education at the  Redlands East Valley High School, where he finished with 264 tackles, 31.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, and three interceptions.

The football player after completing high school furthered his education into college at UCLA from 2016 to 2018 after which he transferred to the University of Miami where he played college football.

Phillips was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the first round (18th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft. He signed his four-year rookie contract, worth $14 million, on June 9, 2021.

He currently plays the position of an outside linebacker whiles wearing the number 15 for the team as well.
