Where Did Josh Bell Come From?

Joshua Evan Bell as he is really called is a first baseman professional baseballer who is known to play for the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball. He is a former Pittsburgh Pirates player as well before the Nationals. He made his Major league debut in the year 2016.

He was a Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas graduate throughout his amateur career, and the Pirates selected him in the second round of the MLB draft in 2011. He bypassed his undergraduate scholarship to the University of Texas in favor of receiving a $5 million signing bonus, which was rumored to be a kind of record for a player selected outside of the first round. He was known to be an All-Star with the Pirates in the year 2019. He played MLB with them from the year 2016 to 2020.

Bell was being drafted by the Pirates in the second round of the Major League Baseball draft in the 61st overall selection, in the year 2021 draft. Before his real professional career, he had minor league work out with the State College Spikes. Bell who now plays for the Nationals was traded by the Pirates on  December 4, 2020 which was in exchange for one Wil Crowe and Eddy Yean.
