Kelvin Joseph is currently in his second season with the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL. He was initially drafted in the 2021 NFL draft as the 44th overall in the second round. On June 10, 2021, he became a member of Dallas’s organization after penning a rookie deal for four years.

Kelvin Joseph spent his childhood in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he also received his high school education at Scotlandville Magnet.

During his junior year, he led the team to the 5A state championship by recording 67 tackles, 3 interceptions (of which 2 were returned for touchdowns), and 12 pass breakups. He was also a key contributor to the team’s overall success.



He was named to the All-District team, as well as the District 4-5A Co-Defensive MVP team, All-Metro, and Class 5A All-state teams.

He finished his senior year with 113 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, and three interceptions to his name. He was honored as All-State in the 5A division and participated in the All-American Bowl.

During his time at his high school, he returned punts, kickoffs, and interceptions for a total of thirteen touchdowns.  Additionally, he engaged in the sport of basketball and played alongside Javonte Smart on a squad.
