Where Did Matt Overton Attend College And Highschool?

On July 6, 1985, Matthew Thomas Overton was born. He plays long snapper for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League.

After graduating from Diablo Valley College, he played collegiate football for Western Washington before being selected as an undrafted free agent by the Seattle Seahawks in 2007.

As a member of the Indianapolis Colts, Overton also participated in the 2013 Pro Bowl. In 2009, Overton played for the Florida Tuskers of the United Football League in between stints with the Seahawks.

He returned to the UFL in 2010, but this time as a member of the Omaha Nighthawks following his release from the Seahawks. Overton played football for the Bulldogs at Tracy High School in Tracy, California, where he was a two-way starter for the Bulldogs for four years.
He received an honorable mention in the 2002 SJAA and was named Lineman of the Year, Player of the Month, and Athlete of the Month.

Despite these honors, Overton enrolled at Diablo Valley College, a junior college in Pleasant Hill, California, after graduating from high school because he was not offered any scholarship.

At Diablo Valley College, Overton started playing collegiate football. Overton received the Special Teams MVP and Team Captain awards during his stint with DVC.

He quickly started receiving scholarship offers from 4-year colleges, and he eventually decided to enroll at Western Washington University.
