Where Did Micah Parsons Attend College And Highschool?

Micah Parsons attended Pennsylvania State University and played for the Penn State Nittany Lions from 20218 to 2020.

He won many awards including a Consensus All-American, the Butkus–Fitzgerald Linebacker of the Year, and the Cotton Bowl Defensive MVP as a sophomore in 2019.

Head coach James Franklin informed Parsons when he committed to Penn State that he would begin his career at middle linebacker rather than defensive end, which is where he played in high school.

Franklin also stated that despite the fact that Parsons was a true freshman, he would be considered for a starting position on the team. Even though he only started one out of 13 games for the Nittany Lions during his freshman year, Parsons managed to lead the team in tackles with 82.

In addition, he made 4 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, 10 quarterback hurries, and 2 forced fumbles. He made history by being the first freshman in the history of the Nittany Lions to ever lead the team in tackles.
