Orlando Brown plays offensive linemen for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League. He went to Peachtree Ridge High School, where he played football in high school. He made the decision to enroll at the University of Oklahoma, where he played collegiate football for the Oklahoma Sooners team

He redshirted his first year at Oklahoma in 2014, then as a redshirt freshman in 2015, he was selected as the starting left tackle. He said in January 2018 that he would forego his senior year and instead declare for the 2018 NFL Draft. He participated in all of the positional drills and the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, but his performance was subpar.

Because it was the slowest of any prospect at the combine, NFL analyst Mike Mayock dubbed his 40-yard dash speed “historically bad.” Baltimore Ravens made Brown their third-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, taking him with the 83rd overall pick. After being chosen as a backup offensive tackle for the 2020 Pro Bowl, he was moved up to the active roster in January of that year.

During a trade in April 2021, Brown was acquired by the Kansas City Chiefs. In March 2022, he received the non-exclusive franchise tag from the Chiefs. On August 2, 2022, after failing to reach a long-term agreement, he signed his $16.7 million franchise tag tender.
