Parker Hesse attended the University of Iowa, where he played football and earned both his undergraduate and master’s degrees.

In his career with the Hawkeyes, he played 52 games and recorded 182 total tackles (95 of which were solo), 14.0 sacks, 31 tackles for loss, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and two interceptions. He also forced and recovered a total of four fumbles.
