Trevon Diggs attended two high schools. He first attended Thomas S. Wootton High School in Rockville, Maryland.

Following the completion of his sophomore year, he made the decision to move to The Avalon School in Wheaton, Maryland, in order to continue playing football under the tutelage of Tyree Spinner.

When he was in high school, he played both defensive back and wide receiver. He finished his junior year with 78 receptions, 1,008 receiving yards, and 15 touchdowns to his credit.

Trevon Diggs attended the University of Alabama and played for the Alabama Crimson Tide from 2016 to 2019.

When Diggs first arrived at Alabama as a freshman in 2016, he was asked to play multiple positions. He ended up starting as a safety, wide receiver, and return specialist.

At the end of the season, he finished with five tackles and one forced fumble on the defensive side of the ball, 11 receptions for 88 yards and a score on the offensive side, and 296 total return yards on the special team’s side.

Diggs made the move to cornerback from safety as his primary position as a sophomore in 2017. He started the first game of the season, which was played against Florida State, but then Levi Wallace moved ahead of him on the depth chart.

He finished the game with six tackles and three pass breakups. In addition, he participated on the special teams, returning 18 punts for a total of 154 yards, the longest of which was 21 yards, and two kickoffs for a total of 74 yards.
