Will Grier is an American football quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Florida and West Virginia and was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the third round in the 2019 NFL Draft.
In the fourth game of his college career, which was contested against the Tennessee Volunteers, he made a significant impact and played a pivotal role in the Gators’ comeback victory, which they earned by a score of 28–27.
Grier’s two touchdown passes put the team in the lead. He completed 23 of 43 passes for 283 yards, scored two touchdowns, and committed one interception to ensure the victory.
It is safe to say that the game that he played against the Ole Miss Rebels was the best game of his career up to this point. He completed 24 of 29 passes for 271 yards and four passing touchdowns in that game. The Gators came out on top, winning 38-10.
In the contest, Grier became the first Gator quarterback since Chris Leak in 2005 to accomplish the milestone by throwing all four of his touchdown passes in the first half.
After four years with the Florida Gators, Grier transferred to West Virginia University in 2016.
