William Sherman is an offensive tackle for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League. Sherman participated in collegiate football at Colorado, and the New England Patriots selected him in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Sherman received his education at Allen High School under the direction of coach Terry Gambill. While there, he played high school football alongside Greg Little and Kyler Murray. The only year he didn’t play on the varsity team was his rookie year. In addition, he competed in track and field for Allen High School, where he hurled the shot put and the discus.

The New England Patriots selected Sherman in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, making him the 197th overall pick in the process. The official signing of Sherman to a contract with the Patriots took place on May 11th, 2021.

On August 31, 2021, he was released from active duty and re-signed to the practice squad. On January 17, 2022, he joined the Patriots on a reserve/future basis by signing a deal with the team.

On August 30, 2022, the Patriots released Sherman from their roster. Sherman officially joined the Denver Broncos practice squad after signing a contract with the team on September 1, 2022.
