Where did Zakoby McClain attend college?

Zakoby McClain plays football professionally for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League as an inside linebacker. He is 99 kilograms and 1.83 meters tall. He was raised in the American city of Valdosta, Georgia, where he attended Valdosta High School and played football. He was a 4-star recruit right out of high school.



He was rated as the finest outside linebacker prospect in the country and the top prospect in Georgia. Over offers from LSU, Tennessee, and other universities, he decided to attend Auburn University. From 2018 through 2021, he played collegiate football for the Auburn Tigers.

In his debut season, Zakoby McClain was only given a minor role. He started every game as a sophomore the following year, and his 99-yard pick-six in the 2019 Iron Bowl against Alabama gave the Tigers an unexpected 48-45 victory. With 113 total tackles during his junior season, he set a national record.

He was chosen for the Second-Team All-SEC Team during his senior year. Zakoby said in December 2021 that he would forego playing in Auburn’s bowl game in favor of declaring for the 2022 NFL Draft. He was not selected in the NFL Draft of 2022, although he did sign a contract with the Baltimore Ravens.
