Bo Joseph Bichette is an American professional baseball shortstop for the Toronto Blue Jays of the Major League Baseball. The player recently signed a one-year/ $825,000 contract with his current team the Toronto Blue Jays in 2022.

The 24-year-old shortstop (born on March 5, 1998) was homeschooled but was able to compete in baseball for Lakewood High School in St.Petersberg, Florida. Then as a senior, Bichette batted.569 with 13 home runs and was named the Gatorade/USA Today Florida Player of the Year.

Bichette enrolled at the Arizona State University and he played college baseball for the Arizona State Sun Devils. The Toronto Blue Jays selected Bichette in the second round, with the 66th Overall selection of the 2016 Major League Baseball Draft. Bichette had recounted that he had turned down four offers from other teams during the draft so he would go to Toronto.

Bichette started the 2016 season with a .431 batting average through 18 games in the Gulf Coast League Baseball Draft. He represented Brazil at the 2017 world baseball classic qualifier and was assigned to the Class A Lansing Lugnut to begin the 2017 season. He was named the Midwest League All-Star on June 7 that year.

In 2018, Bichette played for that AA Hampshire Fisher and appeared in 131 games and batted .286 with 95 runs. Bichette was selected by the Blue Jays on July 29, 2019, and was promoted to the major leagues in the  2020 season which he started with a .301 with five home runs and 23 RBIs in 29 games. On July 4th, 2021 Bichette was named an All-Star for the first time in his career.
