Where is Braxton Berrios now?

Braxton Berrios is a wide receiver for the New York Jets of the National Football League. He attended Miami University and was on the football team there.

He was a standout quarterback for the Leesville Road High School football team in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he excelled as an athlete.

In the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots selected him to join their roster.



Berrios is originally from the Leesville Road neighborhood of Raleigh, North Carolina. He chose Miami over Ohio State, Clemson, Oregon, and many other Power 5 institutions as his school of choice despite being a four-star wide receiver.

Berrios played in his first season of college athletics as a true freshman, ending the year with 21 receptions for 232 yards and three touchdowns.

In the matchup against Florida State in 2017, Berrios was responsible for two touchdown receptions, which contributed to the Gators’ victory over the Seminoles for the first time since 2009.

In the 2018 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots selected Berrios in the sixth round with the 210th overall pick. 

Berrios was placed on injured reserve on September 1st, 2018. Berrios was awarded a Super Bowl ring when the Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams with a final score of 13–3 to go to the LIII edition of the championship game. During the final roster cuts on August 30, 2001, he was released from the team.

Braxton Berrios is currently with the New York Jets. The New York Jets picked up Berrios off waivers on September 1st of 2019. Berrios re-signed with the Jets on a two-year, $12 million contract on March 14, 2022.
