By the time he finished, he had broken Kellen Moore’s single-season passing yardage record as well as records for career passing yards, pass completions, and passing touchdowns.

He earned valedictorian honors at Shadle Park and graduated early with a 4.0GPA. He committed to Boise State University in April 2014 and began attending in January 2015. He was rated as a four-star recruit coming out of high school by both Rivals and Scout.
