Caleb John Thielbar is a Major League Baseball pitcher who currently pitches for the Minnesota Twins (MLB). Thielbar was born on January 31, 1987, and is currently 35 years old. He comes from Northfield, Minnesota in the United States.

Thielbar gained his high school education at the  Randolph High School in Randolph, Minnesota, and South Dakota State University, where he was a member of the South Dakota State Jackrabbits’ baseball team.

Thielbar was drafted in the 18th round of the 2009 MLB Draft by the Milwaukee Brewers. Thielbar was released by the Brewers in 2011 and went on to throw for the St. Paul Saints of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball.

Thielbar was claimed off waivers by the San Diego Padres on August 8, 2015. The Padres assigned him to the El Paso Chihuahuas, his Triple-A organization, where he pitched 12.1 innings while allowing only one earned run.

He later pitched for major league teams including St.Paul Saints, Miami Marlins, and Detriot Tigers. Thielbar signed a minor league deal with the Minnesota Twins on December 13, 2019. Thielbar was added to the active roster by the Twins on August 3, 2020.

He made his first appearance of the season, and his first in the majors in over four years, on August 4. He finished the season with a 2.25 ERA in 17 appearances.
