Darius Harris joined Kansas City as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee in 2019. It only took a season for the linebacker to be a Super Bowl champion (LIV) winner.

Harris’s football journey started during his time at Horn Lake High School. He was a multi-sport athlete who was on the school football and soccer teams. Harris played as a utility player on the football team and was a goalie on the soccer team during his sophomore year.

Harris was ranked #21 overall and 5th among defensive backs on the Bulldogblitz.com Preseason Mississippi Top 50.



Before suffering an injury that ended his season, he played in the first five games and contributed nine rushes for 47 yards, five receptions for 77 yards, 19 tackles, a sack, and an interception on defense.

Harris attended Middle Tennessee State University after a successful high school career. He played four seasons of college football for the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders.

Harris recorded 12 tackles (including a sack and 2.5 TFLs), a forced fumble, a pass breakup, and two hurries in a game against Marshal during his senior year. Harris won the team’s Grinder Award for linebackers after spring practice and was added to the Butkus Award Watch List.
