He received a football scholarship at the University of Georgia and was taken by the New England Patriots in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. As a true freshman for the Georgia Bulldogs, Wynn participated in 11 different games.

Wynn started all 25 of the team’s 26 games during the course of the 2015 and 2016 seasons, going on a streak of 23 games without missing a start before an injury forced him to sit out a game against Louisiana.
