Where is Marcus Williams now?

Marcus Jeffrey Williams currently plays as a former cornerback in American football for the Baltimore Ravens. He was born on March 24, 1991. In 2014, the Houston Texans signed him as an undrafted free agent.

He attended North Dakota State University to play college football. He also participated in games for the Chicago Bears, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Arizona Cardinals, and New York Jets.

Williams distinguished himself in both basketball and football at Hopkins High School in Minnetonka, Minnesota, and chose to play football at NDSU after not receiving a Big 10 scholarship for basketball.



Williams joined the Houston Texans on May 16, 2014 and he was released by the Texans on August 30, 2014.

On September 26, 2014, Williams was added to the New York Jets practice squad. On October 28, 2014, he was elevated to the active roster.

On November 2, 2014, he made his NFL debut against the Kansas City Chiefs and played the majority of the game.

Rex Ryan, the team’s head coach, praised him for his effort after he recorded a team-high seven tackles and one pass breakup.

Williams agreed to a one-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals on April 19, 2018.
Williams was released by the Cardinals on May 21, 2018.

Williams joined the New Orleans Saints on August 11, 2018. The first of September 2018 saw his release.

Williams signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on September 11, 2018. With a hamstring injury, he was put on injured reserve on October 13, 2018. On October 22, 2018, he was released.

The Chicago Bears signed Williams on December 12th, 2018.
