Where Is Odafe Oweh?

Formerly known as Jayson Oweh, Odafe Jayson Oweh (born December 15, 1998) plays outside linebacker for the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens (NFL).

He attended Penn State during his collegiate football career before being selected by the Ravens in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Oweh, who is of Nigerian origin, was born on December 15, 1998, in Hackensack, New Jersey, and she went to Blair Academy in Blairstown. He received a roster spot for 2018 Under Armour All-America Game. Oweh pledged to play college football for Penn State.

Oweh participated in four games while a true freshman at Penn State in 2018 and recorded two sacks. He participated in 13 games as a sophomore in 2019 and made one start. He finished with 21 tackles and 5 sacks.

In the 2020 season, he made 38 tackles, including six tackles for a loss.

The Baltimore Ravens acquired Oweh in a trade that sent Orlando Brown Jr. to the Kansas City Chiefs, and they chose him in the first round (31st overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft.
On June 10, 2021, he agreed to a $12.6 million, four-year rookie contract.

In his second professional game against Clyde Edwards-Helaire and the Kansas City Chiefs, Oweh forced his first turnover and recovered it late in the fourth quarter. A 36-35 victory was secured thanks to the turnover.

His performance, which included three tackles, a tackle for loss, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery, earned him the title of defensive player of the week.

He also hit Patrick Mahomes in the quarterback position, which caused Tavon Young, a teammate, to intercept the ball.
