Quincy Wilson plays cornerback for the National Football League’s Miami Dolphins (NFL). He is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida At the University of Florida, he participated in collegiate football.

Wilson attended the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana, along with 60 other collegiate defensive backs. He finished 14th in the three-cone drill and first among the defensive backs in the short shuttle after completing all the combined workouts.

While scouts and team representatives from 28 NFL teams, including Bill Belichick of the New England Patriots, were present at Florida’s pro day on March 28, 2017, Wilson chose to stand on his combined stats and solely run coverage and participate in drills.



The Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, and Cleveland Browns were among the organizations with which Wilson participated in private workouts and visits. Wilson was predicted by scouts and NFL draft experts to go in the second round at the completion of the pre-draft process.

He was regarded as the sixth-best cornerback by ESPN, the eighth-best cornerback by NFLDraftScout.com, and the ninth-best cornerback prospect in the draft by NFL analyst Mike Mayock. Sports Illustrated listed him as the second-best cornerback prospect in the draft.

Wilson joined the practice squad of the New York Giants on November 17, 2020. He was added to the active roster on December 19 in time for the team’s Week 15 matchup against the Cleveland Browns but was later moved back to the practice squad.

On January 4, 2021, he executed a reserve/future contract. August 24, 2021, saw the date of his injury reserve placement. On December 17, he was released. Wilson agreed to a reserve/future deal with the Miami Dolphins on January 20, 2022.
