He played football in high school at Don Bosco preparatory high school. In total, he caught 27 receptions for 539 yards and 5 touchdowns there. He continued playing college football for the Eagles at Boston College after finishing high school. He didn’t play in the first season. He graduated with a 38-game winning streak, 99 catches for 1,281 yards, and 10 touchdowns.

He was chosen by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He signed his first contract with them in May of that year. In September of this year, he played in his first NFL game. As a rookie, he played in six games and had eight receptions for 114 yards. He was added by the team to the reserve/COVID-19 list on October 24, 2020. On November 11, he was put back on the PUP list. He was unable to play during the full 2020 season due to myocarditis.
