Trinity Benson is an American football wide receiver who currently plays for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League.

Benson was born on January 16, 1997. He attended East Central University, where he participated in collegiate football. When Benson was in college, he was a member of the East Central Tigers football team.

As a senior, he was nominated to the first-team All-Great American Conference after rushing for 324 yards and scoring five touchdowns, as well as receiving 45 passes for 507 yards and scoring four touchdowns.



On April 29, 2019, Benson became a member of the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent after signing with the team.

The team did not keep him after the conclusion of the training camp on the 31st of August in 2019. On September 24, 2019, the Broncos brought Benson back onto their practice squad as a free agent.

Benson was sent to the Detroit Lions along with a selection in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos on August 31, 2021.

In return, the Broncos received selections in the fifth and seventh rounds of the 2022 NFL Draft. Because of his popularity on the Detroit Lions fan forum podcast,
