Zonovan Knight is a running back for the New York Jets of the National Football League. Knight received his high school education at Nash High in Bailey, North Carolina.
He finished his high school career with 71 touchdowns and a school record of 5,073 rushing yards to set himself apart from the competition. He made a verbal commitment to play collegiate football for North Carolina State University.
In his first year at NC State as a true freshman in 2019, Knight started seven games and led the team in rushing with 745 yards on 136 touches and five touchdowns. In 2020, he continued his dominance of the team’s rushing attack, finishing with 788 yards on 143 carries and 10 touchdowns. In 2021, he returned to NC State as the starter for the Wolfpack.

On August 30, 2022, he was one of the 53 players to make the initial roster for the Jets. On September 5th, he was released from the team. The next day, he was given a spot on the team’s practice squad after being re-signed.
