Dillon Everett Thomas is an outfielder in Major League Baseball for the Houston Astros (MLB). He formerly played for the Seattle Mariners and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in Major League Baseball.

Thomas was chosen 138th overall in the fourth round of the 2011 MLB draft by the Colorado Rockies.

In 2011, Thomas made his professional debut with the Casper Ghosts of the rookie ball league, participating in 15 games and hitting .328 with one home run and seven RBI.

The following season, he hit .214/.347/.250 with four RBI for the Low-A Tri-City Dust Devils. He batted .255/.309/.342 with three home runs and 36 RBI for the Single-A Asheville Tourists in 2013.

In 2014, he divided his time between Tri-City and Asheville, hitting.280/.319/.409 with three home runs and 19 RBI.

In 2015, he hit .248/.294/.381 in 113 games for the High-A Modesto Nuts, setting career highs in home runs (6) and RBI (49).

Thomas hit .289/.353/.425 with four home runs and 46 RBI in 111 games for the Double-A Hartford Yard Goats in 2016.

He batted .229/.296/.347 with a career-high 7 home runs and 41 RBI while splitting the 2017 season between the Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes, High-A Lancaster JetHawks, and Hartford. On November 6, 2017, he declared free agency.

Thomas joined the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball’s Texas AirHogs on April 25, 2018. After hitting .377 with five home runs and 19 RBI, he was named the American Association Player of the Month in July.

After hitting .333/.420/.601 with 13 home runs and 54 RBI in 80 games for the squad, Thomas was selected as an AA All-Star after the season.
