As a wide receiver for the New England Patriots of the National Football League, Josh Hammond participates in American football. Joshua is 88 kg and 1.83 m tall. He participated on the football squad at Hallandale High School while he was a student there. Following his graduation from high school, he spent four seasons playing NCAA football for the University of Florida’s Florida Gators.

In 49 games, he had 134 yards and two touchdowns rushing and 87 receptions for 1,138 yards and six touchdowns during his college career. On April 25, 2020, as an undrafted free agent, he signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars. At the conclusion of training camp on August 31, 2021, the Jaguars released him; he was later re-signed to the team’s practice squad.

For the team’s Week 16 matchup against the New York Jets, he was added to the Jaguars’ active roster on December 26, 2021, and he made his NFL debut that day. On January 10, 2022, he executed a reserve/future contract. On May 16, 2022, he was released. He was picked up by the Philadelphia Eagles off waivers in May 2022. The 26th of July 2022 saw his release. He joined the New England Patriots in July 2022.
