The New England Patriots of the National Football League have defensive tackle Lawrence Thomas Guy on their team. In Las Vegas, Nevada, in the United States, on March 17, 1990, he was born. He played football for three seasons at Western High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he graduated.



He finished his career with 238 tackles (171 solo), 30.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles. During his college career, he played football for the Arizona State Sun Devils. As a true freshman, he took part in every game of the 12-game season, starting the final eight. He recorded a total of 44 tackles, 10.0 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, and 1 fumble recovery.

In the seventh round of the 2011 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers selected Guy. For the entire season, he was placed on injured reserve. In October 2012, he was added to the Indianapolis Colts’ practice squad for the Green Bay Packers. He was taken off waivers by the San Diego Chargers in October 2013. The Baltimore Ravens took Guy off waivers on September 24, 2014.

On March 11, 2017, Guy and the New England Patriots came to an agreement on a $20 million, four-year contract. In his first campaign with the Patriots, he made 58 tackles and one sack. In Week 7 of the 2020 season, he made his professional debut against the San Francisco 49ers. He accepted a $11.5 million, four-year deal in March 2021 with the New England Patriots.
