American professional baseball player Tyler Dean Wade was born on November 23, 1994. Wade was born in Murrieta, California in the United States. He plays for the Los Angeles Angels of Major League Baseball. For the New York Yankees in 2017, he made his MLB debut.

Wade went to Murrieta Valley High School in his hometown in Murrietta. In the fourth round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft, the New York Yankees selected Wade.



He had made a pledge to play baseball for San Diego State University in college, but he decided to break his promise instead and join the Yankees for a $371,300 signing fee.

Wade debuted in the Gulf Coast League’s Rookie Division with the Gulf Coast Yankees. He was promoted to the Class A-Short Season New York-Penn League’s Staten Island Yankees near the close of the season after batting.309/.429/.370 with 12 RBIs and appeared in four games for them.

Wade was designated for assignment by the Yankees on November 19, 2021. On November 22, the Yankees exchanged Wade for a player to be named later and sent him to the Los Angeles Angels
