Who does Henry Anderson play for?

In Georgia’s College Park, Anderson enrolled in the Woodward Academy. In his four years of football there, he recorded 183 tackles and 20.5 sacks for head coach Mark Miller.

During the 2009 season, he helped Woodward finish as the runner-up in Region 4AAA after recording 81 tackles (14 for loss), 9.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries, and six pass breakups.

In 2009, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution named him to its first team All-state. In addition, the South Fulton Neighbor honored him to its All-South Metro squad three times and to its All-4AAA Region team twice.



In 2010, he participated in the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl. He received three stars from Rivals.com and was listed as the 27th top defensive end prospect in the country for his class (Scout.com had him at the 42nd spot).

After much deliberation, he decided to play college football at Stanford.

Anderson earned trophies and recognition in both basketball and track and field. He threw the shot put 17.44 meters  (57–2), which was much beyond the previous school record, and he won the state title.

His best discus throw was 43.88 meters (143 feet, 9 inches), and he also participated in the 400-meter relay team.
