After losing starting Vince Biegel to a season-ending Achilles injury early in training camp, the Ravens have added depth to the position by signing free agent Trent Harris, who plays at outside linebacker.

Since Harris entered the NFL in 2018 as an undrafted free agent from Miami, he has played for three different teams in the league. In 2019, while playing for the Dolphins, he participated in 11 games, made three starts, and finished with 22 tackles and 1.5 sacks for the season total.

Harris, who is now 26 years old, has played for the Giants for the previous two years and has accumulated a career total of 34 tackles and 2 sacks.

During the course of training camp, Harris will be one of the outside linebackers among players such as Odafe Oweh, Justin Houston, Steven Means, Daelin Hayes, Jeremiah Moon, and Chuck Wiley.

Tyus Bowser, who finished the previous season as the leader in sacks, is currently on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list as he recovers from an Achilles tear; nevertheless, Bowser provided a favorable update on his development following Thursday night’s preseason game.

David Ojabo, who was selected in the second round of this year’s NFL Draft and sustained a torn Achilles tendon during his Pro Day in March, anticipates making a comeback during the course of the regular season, although his exact return date is yet unknown.
