A wide receiver for the National Football League’s Philadelphia Eagles, Auden Heanon Tate was born on February 3, 1997. He was selected in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals after playing college football for Florida State.



Tate studied at Tampa, Florida’s Paul R. Wharton High School. He made a commitment to play college football at Florida State University. From 2015 to 2017, Tate was a player at Florida State.

He made the decision to forego his senior year and join the 2018 NFL Draft after his junior season in 2017. With 65 receptions for 957 yards and 16 touchdowns, he completed his career.



Where Was Auden Tate Drafted?

Tate was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft, 253rd overall. He missed the first six games of the season because of injury before being released on October 18 and re-signed to the practice squad.

He was added to the active roster on November 5. He made his first career reception in Week 11’s 24-21 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, a five-yard catch. As a rookie, he had a total of four receptions for 35 receiving yards.

Tate signed a contract with the Atlanta Falcons on March 28, 2022. In 2022, on August 23, he was released.

Tate was added to the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad on September 7, 2022.
