The Washington Commanders’ wide receiver Cam Sims competes in the National Football League. Having a height of 1.96 meters, he weighs 100 kg. His high school football career was spent at Ouachita Parish High School. He was rated as a four-star prospect and made a commitment to play college football at the University of Alabama after high school graduation.



From 2014 to 2017, he played football for the Alabama Crimson Tide, first as a reserve and then in his junior and senior seasons, when he started to make an impact. Sims, who went undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft, signed with the Washington Commanders.

He was released by the Redskins in August 2019, and the following day, he was added to the team’s practice squad. In October 2019, he received a promotion to the active roster. Against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card round of the 2020 postseason, he made his playoff debut and was the team’s top receiver, catching seven passes for 104 yards.

Sims was inactive for four days after being added to the COVID-19 reserve list on December 15, 2021. In March 2022, he re-signed with the group for a single season.
