He attended the University of Nebraska after high school and played collegiate football for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

He carried for 2,196 yards and 21 touchdowns on 419 carries throughout his college career. Ozigbo joined the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He was taken off waivers by the Jacksonville Jaguars on September 1, 2019. He was placed on injured reserve on September 10, 2020, and activated in October.

The following day after the Jaguars dismissed him in August 2021, he was re-signed to the practice squad. The New Orleans Saints signed him the following month after the Jaguars practice squad released him in October 2021. In November 2021, he was claimed by the Jacksonville Jaguars off of waivers. Ozigbo signed on to the New England Patriots’ practice squad during the same month.

The Denver Broncos claimed Ozigbo the following day after he had been placed on waivers. He was added to the active roster on October 29, 2022, but three days later he was demoted to the practice squad and re-signed.
