Who Drafted Juanyeh Thomas: When Was Juanyeh Thomas Drafted?

During the three-day event that captures the attention of NFL fans, not every candidate will have the opportunity to hear their name called. There are quite a few prospective players who enter the NFL draft with the assumption that they would be chosen, but they are not. On the other hand, this does not mean that their career in the NFL is ended.

The Dallas Cowboys have had incredible luck in the past with free agents who were not drafted by the team. Those players include names like Everson Walls, Drew Pearson, and most recently, Tony Romo.

The problem is that it’s impossible to predict which players among the unknowns will emerge as useful contributors, let alone standouts. However, the beginning of the road is the same for everyone, including Juanyeh Thomas, a safety who attends Georgia Tech.

Juanyeh Thomas earned an honorable mention on the Atlantic Coast Conference team. He participated in and started each of the 12 games at safety to finish his collegiate career with 27 straight starts.

Thomas spent four seasons at Georgia Tech and participated in all 47 games, starting 33 of them. He had 81 total tackles in 2021, which was the most among non-linebackers, and was third on the squad.
