Tony Poljan, a tight end who was born on April 25, 1997, is a free agent at the moment in the American football league. He played collegiate football for Central Michigan and Virginia, respectively.

Poljan garnered many honours during his senior year at Lansing Catholic High School, including selection to the Division 5-6 first-team all-state team and Michigan Gatorade Player of the Year.

He recorded 1,017 rushing yards and 22 total touchdowns in his junior season, in addition to 2,802 passing yards and 34 touchdown throws.

Prior to Jerry Kill’s retirement announcement, Poljan had committed to playing collegiate football for Minnesota, but he later reneged on that word.

He ultimately made the choice to accept a scholarship offer from Central Michigan University as opposed to Michigan State, Nebraska, or Iowa State.

Poljan played wide receiver and quarterback for the Central Michigan Chippewas as a freshman. He only played tight end as a junior, but he caught 33 passes for 496 yards and four touchdowns, earning him a spot on the second team of the Mid-American Conference.

This influenced his decision. After graduating from his junior year of college, Poljan announced that he would be applying to switch schools.

He ultimately made the choice to transfer as a PhD student to the University of Virginia. On May 13, 2021, Poljan signed with the Baltimore Ravens, and on that day he joined the organization as an undrafted free agent.

He was taken off the active roster on August 31, 2021, and the next day he was added to the practice squad. He signed a deal with the Ravens on January 10, 2022, and became a reserve/future player.

McCrary was cut by the Ravens from their roster on August 30, 2022.
