The National Football League’s Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Randall Pollard was born on April 30, 1997. After playing for Memphis in college football, he was drafted by the Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Pollard played high school football while attending Melrose High School. He started as a wide receiver and cornerback for the high school football squad as a senior at both positions.

He earned more than 1,200 receiving yards, scored 20 touchdowns, and was selected All-District 16-AAA while assisting the club in reaching the playoffs.

The University of Memphis offered Pollard a football scholarship, which he accepted. He played in 13 games as a redshirt freshman, starting seven of them.

The Dallas Cowboys drafted Pollard in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, 128th overall. In his NFL debut against the New York Giants in Week 1, he recorded 13 carries for 24 yards, leading the team to a 35-17 victory.

Pollard recorded his first career 100+ yard game in Week 3 against the Miami Dolphins, finishing with 103 running yards on 13 runs and a touchdown as the Cowboys defeated them 31-6.
