Ben Powers is a professional football player for the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens. For the Ravens, he fulfills the responsibilities of an offensive guard. He is 141 kg in weight and 1.93 meters tall. He was born in the American city of Wichita, Kansas. For both his high school education and football career, he attended Kapaun Mt. Carmel.
While there, he placed second in the state wrestling finals and earned varsity letters in football and wrestling. As a high school student, he competed in both the offensive and defensive lines.
He spent a year studying at Butler Community College because he was not awarded a scholarship by any college following high school. Later, he played collegiate football for the Oklahoma Sooners of the University of Oklahoma. For the 2018 football season, he was selected unanimously to the first-team All-America.
Baltimore Ravens drafted him in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Prior to starting his first season on the inactive list for the first 16 games, he was added to the Ravens’ active roster. He made his NFL debut in Week 17 of the current season, playing most of the Baltimore Ravens’ victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers at right guard.
