Currently, a member of the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League, Britain Covey is a wide receiver and return specialist for the Eagles.
He entered the world on March 18, 1997. He played college football at Utah and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Eagles in 2022.
He led his team to consecutive state titles, and he was twice named Utah Valley’s top football performer. He ran for 2904 yards and added another 44 touchdowns to his total of 56, and he threw for 44 more.
Altogether, he accounted for 4492 yards of offence. Covey finished his high school football career with 111 touchdowns, good for fourth all-time in Utah history, despite only starting his first two years.
Covey was named to Pro Football Focus’s All-America Freshman Team at Receiver. He missed the 2016 and 2017 campaigns while serving a mission for the LDS Church in Chile.
In 2018, he appeared in all but one of the team’s thirteen games and started four of them. His 221 punt return yards and 144 kick return yards earned him first-team all-conference returner honours.
After injuring his ACL in the Pac-12 Championship Game, he was sidelined for bowl games. Covey was given a redshirt despite playing in four games this year.
