Bryan Anthony Shaw is one of the professional baseball players with the Cleveland Indians baseball team. Bryan plays as a pitcher for the Indians and earns an annual salary of $3 million from the Indians.
Bryan was born to Richard Shaw and Michelle Shaw on November 8, 1987, in the town of Livermore in California. He played high school baseball at Livermore High School in California after which he played college baseball for the Long Beach State Dirtbags baseball team at the California State University.
Before he graduated from college, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Chatham A’s of the Cape Cod Baseball League. In 2008, he was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 2nd round of the 2008 MLB draft.
Bryan made his professional debut that year and was assigned to play in minor leagues for the Diamondbacks from 2008 to 2011 when the Diamondbacks promoted him to the major leagues. He made his MLB debut on June 10, 2011. The Diamondbacks traded him to the Cleveland Indians in 2012.
He was with the Indians till 2017 when the Colorado Rockies came and signed a three-year contract worth $27 million with him. Bryan signed a one-year deal with the Seattle Mariners in July 2020. He returned to the Indians in February 2021 after he signed a minor league contract with them that included an invitation to spring training.
