American football defensive end Calais Malik Campbell competes for the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens.

On September 1st, 1986, Campbell was born. (NFL). The Arizona Cardinals selected him in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft after he played NCAA football for the University of Miami.

Campbell competed in basketball and football while a student at South High School in Denver, Colorado. He racked up 57 sacks over the course of his career, setting a new state record.

In addition to Colorado State, Nebraska, Louisiana State, Michigan, Oklahoma, and San Diego State, Campbell choose Miami over a number of other universities.

Miami gave Campbell his first playing experience in the 2005 campaign. He made 24 total tackles, 2.5 sacks, and three passes defended in 11 games.

He recorded 55 total stops, 10.5 sacks, four passes defended, and three caused fumbles in the 2006 campaign. Campbell received ACC All-Star honours.

He has three different outings in the 2006 season where he had at least three sacks in a single game.  He has 50 total tackles, 6.5 sacks, three passes defended,

and one interception in his final season with the Hurricanes in 2007. The interception came against Marshall in the season’s opening game.

Who is Calais Campbell’s father?

Charles is Campbell’s biological father. Charles wed Nateal Campbell, and the couple went on to have eight children together; two boys and six girls among them. At the end of 2003, his father, Charles Campbell, passed away.
