A professional football player in the National Football League by the name of Casey Hayward. For the Atlanta Falcons, he is a cornerback. He stands 1.80 meters tall and weighs 87 kg. He excelled in football, basketball, and track while attending Perry High School. He attended Vanderbilt University after finishing high school, where from 2008 to 2011 he played collegiate football for the Vanderbilt Commodores.

After playing in his first year, he made the position change to cornerback permanently. In his final year as a Vanderbilt Commodore, he tied the school record for interceptions (15). He also recorded 62 tackles and had seven interceptions, which is the third-highest total by a Vanderbilt player in a single season. He was named an All-American midseason by Sports Illustrated.

When he was selected to the second team by the Walter Camp Foundation at the end of the season, he became the first Vanderbilt All-American in four years. In the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers selected Hayward. In March 2016, he committed to the San Diego Chargers for three years.

He was selected the AFC Defensive Player of the Week in Week 1 of 2020 for his performance. The Chargers released him in March 2021. He committed to the Las Vegas Raiders on May 4, 2021. In March 2022, he signed a $11 million, two-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons.
