Christopher DeShun Jones is a defensive tackle for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League. Jones was born on July 3, 1994, and now plays for the team.
His college football career was spent at Mississippi State, and the Kansas City Chiefs selected him in the second round of the NFL Draft in 2016.
Jones went to high school in Houston, Mississippi, at Houston High School, where he was a member of the Houston High School Hilltoppers football team.
Jones was rated as a five-star recruit and was believed to be one of the best players in his graduating class. He will play collegiate football at Mississippi State University, which he has already committed to attend.
As a first-year student at Mississippi State in 2013, Jones participated in all 13 of the Bulldogs’ games and started three of them. He was credited with 32 tackles and three quarterback sacks.
He played in all 13 games as a sophomore and recorded 26 tackles and three sacks during that season. He started all 13 games he played in as a junior, compiling a total of 44 tackles and 2.5 sacks.
After completing his junior year of college, Jones came to the conclusion that he would skip his senior year in favor of participating in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Analysts and scouts believe that Jones will be selected in the second round of the draft after he finished his college career.
NFLDraftScout.com placed him as the eighth-best defensive tackle and the 48th-best prospect overall in their rankings. Jones accepted his invitation to participate in the NFL Combine and worked hard throughout the entire exercise as well as all of the positional drills.
While Jones was competing in the 40-yard dash, he experienced a wardrobe malfunction that caused his genitalia to become exposed. After tumbling to the ground, he was able to correct the problem.
This quickly spread across all social media platforms. He went to Mississippi State’s Pro Day, but after evaluating his performance at the combine, he concluded that it was enough for him and merely participated in positional exercises.
