Corn Elder, a professional cornerback, is a member of the National Football League’s Washington Commanders. He is 1.78 meters tall and 84 kilograms. While attending Ensworth High School, he played football. He carried for 2,618 yards and 39 touchdowns as a senior, contributing to the team’s third straight Division II-AA state title.



He was a four-star prospect coming out of high school and the two-time Mr. Football Player of the Year winner for Tennessee. He played football for the Miami Hurricanes while attending the University of Miami. He started seven of the ten games he participated in as a true freshman in 2013, made seven tackles, and returned seven kickoffs for 164 yards.

One of Miami’s greatest defensive playmakers as a senior, he started all 13 games and produced a spectacular season. He received second-team All-ACC accolades from the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association and first-team All-ACC recognition from the ACC coaches. The Carolina Panthers selected Elder with the 152nd overall pick in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

He was released in August 2019 after the final roster cuts. He joined the New York Giants practice squad in September of this year. In April 2021, he signed with the Detroit Lions, and in August, he was cut. Elder was released by the Washington Commanders on August 30, 2022, and was added to the practice squad the following day.
