The National Football League’s Washington Commanders are where wide receiver Curtis Samuel competes. He participated in football for the Dutchmen while a student at Erasmus Hall High School as a running back. He rushed for 1,047 yards and 13 touchdowns as a junior, averaging 11.5 yards per carry.
He racked up 17 touchdowns and 1,461 yards on the ground in his senior season, averaging 15.8 yards per carry. He was also given a spot in the All-American Bowl and was named the 2013 New York Gatorade Player of the Year. He attended at Ohio State University following his high school graduation and played NCAA football for the Buckeyes there.
